Arianna runs "Secret Pete's" a Brooklyn-based poetry organization that hosts monthly open mics at Pete's Candy Store as well as readings and social events. As a playwright, her work has been performed at the Cherry Lane Theatre in New York, Writing is Live Festival, and Rites & Reason Theatre. Her poetry is published in The Burning Palace and Poetry is a Team Sport. Arianna has also written for NYC’s largest neighborhood news site, the West Side Rag.
She's worked as a reader for Austin Film Festival; Second Stage Theatre, providing coverage for future seasons (Broadway and Off-Broadway); Futurepoem, reading for the 2024 Other Futures Award; and privately for novelists, playwrights, and screenwriters with projects on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Peacock, and Paramount+. Arianna studied screenwriting at UCLA Extension with Koji Steven Sakai and at Primary Stages with Daniel Talbott; playwriting with Marcus Gardley, Carl Hancock Rux, and Winter Miller; and fiction at Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop with Heather Aimee O'Neill.
In the past, she was a performer at Williamstown and La MaMa, with PearlDamour, in award-winning short "The Chicken" (Locarno, NYFF, AFI, Hamptons, etc.), in a one-woman show she wrote, and sang small roles with the Washington National Opera as a child. She has a bachelors from Brown University with honors in Italian Studies and Performance Studies and is an MFA Writing candidate at Pratt Institute.
