Arianna was delighted to read as a special guest in "A Lonesome Evening," at the Georgia Room. Hosted by Lonesome Press, the event featured performances by the likes of the legendary Penny Arcade and longtime fixtures of the downtown poetry scene Ilka Scobie and Jeff Wright.

Arianna's research and writing on the Holocaust in Italy was selected to receive a grant from Pratt Institute's Graduate Student Engagement Fund for a second year in a row. She looks forward to returning to Italy to continue her translation work in 2026!

Arianna's poem "I, Animal, Other" was published in a special feature zine by Proyecto Voces, a magazine based in Sonora, Mexico highlighting the work of influential and emerging artists, designers, musicians, and more.


Recent NEWS:
Arianna's poem "La Bella Sicilia che ti brucia al sangue" was published this August in the literary journal of Proyecto Voces. The publication presents the poem in English and Spanish, with translation by Voces' editor in chief herself Marie Anne Arreola. Check it out here!
Arianna's poem "Hit Play" was published in a book by The Kollection to commemorate their Poetry Gallery event series (in which the poem was exhibited). Available for purchase at this link!
Arianna completed a two week writing residency at Björkö Konstnod in Stockholm's northern archipelago in July.
Secret Pete's hosted a reading at The New York City Poetry Festival on Governor's Island this July.

For the past three years, Arianna has run "Secret Pete's," a Brooklyn-based poetry community hosting open mics at Pete's Candy Store and readings at Brooklyn Art Haus. As a playwright, her work has been performed at The Cherry Lane Theatre in New York, The Writing is Live Festival, and Rites & Reason Theatre. Her poetry has been published by The Kollection, Proyecto Voces, The Burning Palace, and Poetry is a Team Sport. Arianna has also written for NYC’s largest neighborhood news site, The West Side Rag.
She worked as a feature reader for Austin Film Festival; a reader for Second Stage Theatre (Broadway and Off-B'way future season coverage); Futurepoem (2024 Other Futures Award); and privately for novelists, playwrights, and screenwriters with work on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Peacock, and Paramount+. Arianna studied screenwriting at UCLA Extension with Koji Steven Sakai and at Primary Stages with Daniel Talbott; playwriting with Marcus Gardley, Carl Hancock Rux, and Winter Miller; and fiction at Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop with Heather Aimee O'Neill.
In the past, she acted at Williamstown and La MaMa, with PearlDamour, in award-winning short "The Chicken" (Locarno, NYFF, AFI, Hamptons, etc.), in a one-woman show she wrote, and sang small roles with The Washington National Opera as a child. She has a bachelors from Brown University with honors in Italian Studies and Performance Studies and is an MFA Writing candidate at Pratt Institute.
